About my work

There is so much to explore with a carved stamp.
My love of primitive style patterns, botanical illustrations, abstract work, watercolor and collage; all play a role in working with my carved imagery.
Of all my creative experiences, I can honestly say creating with my hand carved stamps is my true, art love.
I raised my kids with the saying "Stamping is what life is all about",
which although literally true for me, it is a metaphor for finding the things you love and explore them with enthusiasm.
My art world is all about these mark making tools, that I love to carve. However, my creative paths have varied through my life, painting, bookmaking, quilting, rug hooking and pretty much, all things paper and/or fabric.

About Me
I grew up in Texas and went to Culinary school in Vermont, where I met Michael. As our life started together we lived in several places, Napa Valley, Seattle, Vermont and Boston. We joke that we moved all over the country and found the most expensive place to live to start a family. My love for New England is true.
In Boston I discovered stamp arts and which threw me into fast gear, to learn many skills, starting with stamp carving, then so many other things; bookmaking, paper crafts, collage, and painting. Also, fiber arts such as quilting, needle punch, embroidery and primitive rug hooking.
Being an empty-nester gives me the freedom to share my hand carved stamp world with you.
Currently my focus is on YouTube,
where I am uploading Studio Vlogs regularly....so, head on over there and check out my channel.
